Lawrence Hirsch

Lawrence grew up in a Jewish home in South Africa. He and his family later moved to Australia, and shortly after, Lawrence’s brother began to talk about how Jesus had changed his life. He was perplexed by his brother’s change in beliefs. However, after hearing his brother read Isaiah 53, Lawrence started on a journey of faith leading him to believe that Jesus really is the Messiah.

Lawrence was so surprised to find out that the love of his life, Louise, who was still living in South Africa, also had accepted Jesus into her life on the very same day. Later they married and when they had their second child, a baby girl— the doctors presented Lawrence and Louise with some very difficult news. How did they find shalom?
