John Desser

John’s father became disenchanted with Judaism after he violated halacha (Jewish law) to save a life. As a result, John grew up in a very secular Jewish home. After college, John became passionate about politics, and joined the staff of a senator. John was shocked to see someone pull out a Bible at a staff breakfast and begin reading. Soon, other heroes in his life began mentioning the Messiah, and John realized this “Jesus question” was not going away. How did he find shalom?
